Following the news that Georgina Campbell has landed the lead in SySy's Superman prequel series, Krypton, Deadline reports that the show has now rounded out its series regular roles.
Former Game of Thrones alum Ian McElhinney will play Seg-El's grandfather Val-El; Elliot Cowan (DaVinci's Demons, Luther) has been cast as Magistrate Daron-Vex; Lyta's mother Primus Alura Zod will be played by Ann Ogbomo (World War Z); Rasmus Hardiker (Your Highness) will be an engineer named Kem; while Wallis Day (The Royals) and Aaron Pierre (Tennison) will portray Nyssa-Vex and Dev-Em respectively.

From Warner Horizon Television and DC Comics, Krypton takes place years before the Superman legend we know, when the House of El was shamed and ostracized. While Syfy hasn't officially ordered Krypton to series, a trailer for the pilot episode has found its way online, with the first bits of footage, and it actually looks pretty cool. Come take a look!
